Lincoln Middle School participates in the city-wide middle school competitive sports league run by the Alameda Education Foundation.  This program includes coed Volleyball, Girls and Boys Basketball in the Winter, and Track & Field in the Spring.

Three sports programs are offered for middle school students:

Fall - Co-ed Volleyball

Winter - Boys and Girls Basketball

Spring - Boys and Girls Track and Field

Previous experience isn’t an absolute requirement for any of AEF's sports - although, due to limits on roster size, volleyball and basketball teams are selected competitively.

Students compete for their school teams and must attend the school they play for. Only students enrolled full-time in AUSD or Alameda public charter middle schools, in grades 6 – 8, and in good standing at the school they are enrolled in are eligible to compete for their school of enrollment. Scholarships are available to qualified AUSD or public school students.

Scholarship requests should be made AFTER a student is selected for the team by emailing AEFSports@AlamedaEducation.org.
